Acts 4:18-20 (I encourage you to read chapter 4 in its entirety at some point)
18 Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges! 20 As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
We all can’t wait to tell our friends about the last movie we saw. Or the concert we went to. Or… you fill in the blank. Why isn’t it the same about Jesus? There will be times when people want you to be silent and stop talking about Jesus. But as we learn here in this passage, how can we keep silent to the things we have experienced, seen, and heard? Be a Big Mouth!
